About the painting:
I used only coffee and a Sharpie when making this piece. While my usual style is realism, I do enjoy cutting loose from that on occasion to create a fun simple painting like this. It was my first attempt with this type of line drawing, and I really enjoyed it. I used three different roasts of coffee for the background, having no idea if it would work. Thankfully, it turned out beautifully.
