In 2022, I was commissioned to paint river critters, native to the Chickamauga River, on the floor of Ivy Academy. Each little painting covered up the damage left by the social distancing stickers that the school was required to put on their floors. I think it was appropriate to use art to cover up those blemishes left by a pandemic that caused so much devastation and division. It was a fun little project!
