On October 6, 2024, I breathed a sigh of satisfaction as I completed the last brush stroke of the most complicated mural I have ever created. After 2.5 weeks of work, which included some weather delays, and while simultaneously planning my wedding on the 13th, my 8x8' mural is finished and sealed! Typical workdays on this piece ranged from 9 to 12 hours. This project was quite challenging physically, but it served as a new test for me to overcome and gain more experience. I was given a list of 16 different items to incorporate into the painting: mountains, the barn, butterfly wings, a tractor, pumpkins, sunflowers, zinnia flowers, corn, cows, Supreme the horse, Pony Pie, Big Possum Creek, Hezekiah and Elizabeth Hughes, Flat Top Mountain Farm, Est. 1820, and TN Tristar. I love how it turned out! Thank you to Flat Top Mountain Farm for supporting me and giving me the freedom to express my creativity and artistic skills!
